Formational Care

Our caregivers use an approach to care called Formational Prayer. It is focused on helping people explore their own story, making sense of their past and exploring the ways it continues to affect them in the present. Caregivers then positioning people to experience the healing and transforming power of Christ in those past hurts.

The starting point in formational care is understanding our true identity. Once we grasp the reality that we are a child of God who is deeply loved by God, then and only then, can we begin our journey to true healing. Our caregivers are trained to walk with you on your journey as God begins to peel back the layers of years of hurt and pain from our wounds. 

Sadly, we have accepted the reality of living in constant pain and stress as normal. We take the blame for things done to or withheld from us as children. We remind ourselves of those hurtful things said to us by someone we trusted and begin to believe them even though we know they are 100% false. 

We have done a pretty great job of living in our wounds... 

It's time to sit with God at the foot of the cross and allow him to speak healing into those wounds. You don't have to walk this journey alone. We want to walk with you every step of the way. 

We truly believe every person can find healing and live life not in chaos but in complete shalom.
